TIN HAU H 36? X W 16?X D 16?
This piece shows my
interpretation of Tin Hau. I started this piece after the recent
Tsunami. My Tin Hau is sitting under the ocean. On her head is an atoll
on which an anthropomorphic fish/girl is sitting. Tin Hau is the
protector of Fishing Folk, she is found in all the small temples in
fishing villages around Hong Kong, Tai Wan and China. She is also known
as Matsu.
